Local officials and organizations broke ground on Palmer Park in Coatesville this past August. The new play area is a joint effort of the Greening Coatesville initiative which includes the City of Coatesville, Brandywine Health Foundation, and Natural Lands. The playground will feature a splash area; a small, constructed creek; several nature play elements; a gathering area with seating; new trees; and more. Palmer Park’s nature-based play area will promote natural play and environmental stewardship.
